First of all, like others have said, the stock boost gauge is not very accurate or precise. The car stock should be around 10 lbs after spoolup, in third gear. I like Greddy gauges, yet many brands are good, and I also like Autometer for budget gauges.....I went through Summitt for my dsm...anyways. Secondly, I would do the 60K maintenance for good measure. Time affects things like timing belts etc, so that would not be a total waste of $$, for an expensive engine like the VG30DETT. Thirdly, you are correct about purchasing aftermarket equipment for the z, as JWT and Stillen are not always the best buy. I would recommend sponsors of this site for parts, and Coz from Concept Z has offered many here great service. Ruzzel from Z1 motorsports (used to be the zx connection?) has a great rep on here, and people here will not steer you wrong. Like I said, congrats, and one of the best moves you have made is post here, as there is more z32 knowledge and experience here than any other place on the planet! Good luck, and z on ...... Jeff :I have traded in my 2k2 Maxima for a '95 TT with T-tops (auto). The car has 28,000 miles on it! :It is in pristine condition, inside and out it was comparable to my 2002 (which was meticulously maintained). :I have searched but couldn't find the answer to some questions: About how many pounds of boost should the car be at under WOT? It goes to the 3rd line (10.5 lbs?). Is this guage even accurate? :The car is 8 years old, but still has under 30k miles. I was going to get the 60k service done, just for kicks and grins (I am aware how much it cost). Am I being too anal? :Is there one or two premier places to by aftermarket Z products (other than Stillen, and JWT)? Things like turbo timers, boost guages, intakes, etc. (I want all 3 of these ASAP, any recomendations are appreciated!) :Here are some pics: :[ www.wolfish.net/z_car ]
